Why am I not receiving notifications?
Here are some things to check if you aren't receiving an expected notification:
1. Relay is activated and your Slack is connected
It may sound silly, but let's first double check that you have activated Relay via the dashboard, and connected your Slack workspace.
2. Event status is green on the Dashboard
Next take a look at the event status icon next to the event you're wanting to receive a notification for and check that it is green.
If it is grey, this means you haven't configured any notifications for it yet. Click here to learn how to do this if you're unsure.
If it is yellow, this indicates an issue with your configuration. Click here to read more about the reasons why this might occur.
3. Notifications are configured and pointing to the correct channel
When you click on your desired event, you will see a list of your configured notifications. Double check they have a name, at least one channel selected and at least one field chosen. Also importantly, ensure you have clicked Activate at the top of this event to switch it on.
4. Conditions might be stopping your notification
Lastly, take a look at any conditions you've set up for your notification and make sure they are accurate. Chances are these are the final step preventing you from receiving your notification. It may be that the rules you've configured here aren't passing, so the notification is not sent.
