How does Early Bird handle declined deferred payments?

Early Bird will attempt to process deferred payments on their due date. If for some reason the payment fails to process (most likely the vaulted card details have expired, or the card declines), Early Bird will display this information on the Orders table within the Pre-order campaign dashboard.

You can go to the Order itself in Shopify admin to see more details and attempt to manually collect payment, or send an invoice to the customer for them to update their card details and pay.

If you believe a payment should have succeeded, or you notice a large volume of failed payments, please email us at support@shopside.com.au and we can determine the reason for the failures and potentially re-process them for you.
