What happens to the remaining deposits If I pause my Shopify pre-order campaign?

If you pause your pre-order campaign, the remaining deposits scheduled for your customers will be handled as follows:

Pre-order Deposit Status

The remaining payment will be captured automatically based on the settings in your pre-order campaign (either on a specific date, or after X days since their pre-order purchase). Any deposits that have already been collected will remain in your account.

You can view the deposit status of each pre-order on your campaign's dedicated reporting dashboard:

Under the Payment status column you can view when a customer's remaining deposit will be captured.

Note: If you choose to cancel your pre-order campaign entirely, you may need to process refunds for any deposits collected, depending on your Shopify store policy and the pre-order regulations in the region your customers are in.
