How do I edit my Shopify Order Payment Receipt email to remind customers they're paying for the deferred remainder of their pre-order purchase?

By default, Shopify's Order Payment Receipt email doesn't remind your customers they've purchased a pre-order item. This can result in customer complaints later on when they receive their payment receipt email for the deferred remainder of their pre-order purchase.

To edit your Shopify Order Payment Receipt email to remind your customers, follow these steps below.

Find the Order Payment Receipt Email Template

From the Shopify Admin, go to Settings > Notifications > Customer Notifications.
